Fulbright Canada Research Chair in Canada-U.S. Relations, Johns Hopkins University

The Fulbright Research Chair in Canada-U.S. Relations is open to Canadian scholars that meet the eligibility requirements of the Fulbright Program. Specifically, the Chair will be focused on issues pertaining to U.S.-Canadian relations and will carry out the program of research outlined in the successful application and give one or more public talks.

The Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) is a graduate division of Johns Hopkins University with campuses in Washington DC, Bologna Italy and Nanjing China. The Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in U.S.-Canadian Relations is hosted in the Center for Canadian Studies, located on the DC campus with convenient access to U.S. federal agencies, Congress, and archives and nearby to think tanks and policy research institutes and their respective scholars.

Specializations: U.S. or Canadian foreign policy, international economics, international relations, energy and environment, border and national security.

Applicants are encouraged to identify their primary and alternate choices on the application. Formal letters of invitation should not be sought; however, applicants are encouraged to contact the institution to discuss research interests.
