Fulbright Canada Research Chair in Social Sciences, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa
The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM) warmly welcomes a Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in an academic department or center within the College of Social Sciences (CSS) to conduct research, develop partnerships, and potentially teach a semester course. The position is pending funding availability. The Visiting Research Chair will have opportunities to deliver public lectures, participate in conferences and related research, and contribute to UHM’s intellectual life.
UHM actively promotes research and teaching that crosses disciplines and departments. The Visiting Research Chair may work with various campus units to develop personal and professional networks for further academic pursuit. Situated in the lush and green Mānoa Valley, the flagship campus of UH is just outside of the downtown Honolulu financial district on the island of O‘ahu. Specializations: Social Sciences including but not limited to regional cooperation on issues including energy, climate change and the environment, Asia Pacific engagement, indigenous issues, ICT, health disparities, and migration.
